Meet George

Real estate is relationship.

Everything else on this site is details. This is the part that doesn't change.

George Ponce, Phoenix Realtor, wearing an American flag tie.

The short version

I'm a licensed Realtor with CENTURY 21 Northwest Realty in Glendale, working across the West Valley in English and Spanish. Most of my clients come to me the same way: somebody I already helped gave them my number.

A lot of them are renting when we meet. The industry mostly ignores renters, because there's no commission this month in helping someone budget for a house they'll buy in two years. I think that's exactly backwards. The renter I help today is the homeowner whose closing I attend next year, and whose brother calls me the year after.

Before real estate

I grew up in my family's grocery store, helping people at the counter. I've been in sales my whole adult life: clothes, electronics, appliances, and twenty-seven years in hospitality. I've been a professional Realtor for more than nine years now, and every one of those jobs taught the same lesson: people aren't looking for a pitch. They're looking for someone with the patience to listen to their questions, explain a complicated process, and put their interest first.

I've also been an apartment renter, a home renter, a seller and a homeowner myself. I know the view from every side of the table, including yours.

Why the flag

When a family closes on their first home, I bring an American flag to the closing table. Before I leave, we find the right place to hang it. For many of my clients that flag means something you can't put on a spec sheet: proof that the plan worked, that the years of rent and overtime and saying no added up to a front door with their name on the deed behind it.

The flag isn't a gift bag item. It's the whole point.

How I work

  • Straight answers. If you're not ready to buy, I'll say so, and I'll say when and what has to change.
  • Both languages, fully. Not translated summaries. Every document, every negotiation, explained until it's actually clear.
  • Nobody gets rushed. The right time is when your numbers work, not when my month needs a closing.
  • Lifelong, on purpose. Closing day starts the relationship. Flag replacements, contractor referrals, market questions years later: that's all included in knowing me.

Community

I moved to the West Valley twenty-five years ago and I've come to love everything about it: the hiking and camping, the shopping and dining, the small neighborhoods tucked among the subdivisions with plenty of parks to walk the dogs or watch your kids play. My business grows through the same families, churches, workplaces and school pickup lines it serves. This is my home. Now I want to help make it yours.
